Can u point me to any web hoster out there (preferably in Canada) that provides free web hosting for ASP.NET v1.1, allows file uploading (avi, mpgs, jpgs, bmp), and FTP.
If none exists, please recommend any cheap web hosters.

i have searched on google for ‘best asp.net webhosting’ and the reviews in the first few results displayed seems to be commercialized and biased
price is not so much of an issue, i need a host who is firstly reliable and provides good support. from the technical side, i need things such as jquery, mysql and ADO.net.
i need to get some opinion here. please share some of the good asp.net hosts you have experience or heard of

I found one, but my site uses MS SQL, and that site won’t allow that in their free package. I’m either looking for a site that does, or I have a different question:
I’ve created a site in Visual Studio 2005 using the template it came with to base my site on. It uses MS SQL; is there any way to remove that dependency, or use an access database, or something? Even if someone could tell me what the database does, it would be very helpful.
